The Melting Ice Cream Truck by The Glue Society
They may have ruined a perfectly servicable ice cream truck, but The Glue Society won $5,000 in the process as part of the Sculpture by the Sea exhibit that occurs annually in Australia.

Part 1: Jon Stewart Goes Head-to-Head Bill O’Reilly (by FoxNewsInsider)
Rapunzel and Eugene’s chemistry is amazing. It’s interesting to note how dated a film is not only by animation but also by gender/social roles. In Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Cinderella (the latter ones specifically), there was a huge emphasis on “love at first sight” and the one and only “Prince Charming.” The princesses and their princes had little to no interaction prior to getting hitched.
As we move on down the timeline, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid/Pocahontas and Aladdin, we see a stronger relationship forming between the couples as they actually do get to know one another before falling “in love.” However, gender roles are still strictly defined much to feminists’ dismay as more often than not, the female ends up in a pickle and it’s up to Eric, the Beast, or Aladdin to save their female companions.
As we move along, not only do the males and females interact with each other, they actually go on adventures together, with the females saving the males fairly often. In Tangled, Rapunzel saves Eugene’s life in the underwater scene, and even heals his stab wound. She can also hold her own with a frying pan. In the Princess and the Frog, the whole structure of the antiquated fairy tale is turned on its head as Tiana and the Prince both end up being frogs and going through misadventures TOGETHER. And quite possibly the most bold of them all (so far), Mulan saves Shang’s life from the avalanche, and saves CHINA from Shan-Yu.
With the upcoming release of Brave, we will no doubt see a continuation of this trend. What does this all mean? Does it mean that there’s a direct correlation between a modernized society and feminism? Not quite. In a way, yes. But I don’t think feminism for the sake of feminism is the main goal. Feminism is just a tool for social equality, and sometimes it takes over-the-top B.A. female characters to change people’s minds.
